Remote Desktop Services Activation Instructions

🔐 Activate RDS CALs

1. Open Server Manager on your Windows Server 2022.
2. Navigate to Remote Desktop Services → Overview → RD Licensing Manager.
3. Right-click your server name and select Activate Server.
4. Complete the activation using Automatic Connection or Web Browser methods.
5. Once activated, right-click the server again and choose Install Licenses.
6. Select license program: “License Pack (Retail Purchase)”.
7. Enter the 50 User CALs key provided and follow the wizard to complete the activation.
